Geno Monroe as Sammy Davis Jr
Geno Monroe has always had the ability to make people laugh since he was a little boy in New Jersey. He has often been referred to as the Comedy King, who, since 1979, has enjoyed being an MC and performing his classic stand-up comedy in many venues such as the Civic Center in Salisbury, Md., the Comedy Stop at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino and Club Harlem, in Atlantic City. He has appeared with such high caliber groups as Skyy, Archie Bell and the Drells, Atlantic Starr, The Delphonics, Max Roach & Company and Eddie Holman of “Hey There Lonely Girl” fame. Geno’s comedy routine includes many voice impersonations such as Bill Cosby, Sylvester Stallone, John Wayne, George Burns, Rodney Dangerfield and Sammy Davis, Jr. to name a few. He has parlayed his knack for doing voice impressions and cultivated his persona into a full time gig playing Mr. Davis in Reflections of the Rat Pack. He has performed as far west as Chicago and all along the East Coast from Florida to New York in such venues as The Carlyle Club in Alexandria, Va., Bathesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, and the celebrated Congressional Country Club, both in Bathesda, Md. Since becoming Sammy, Geno has wowed audiences with his uncanny ability to bring Sammy back to life and now he’ll expand his Sammy persona with Yesteryear Entertainment.
